This is ADOR.
On August 27, a board meeting was held and Kim Joo Young was chosen as the new CEO.
Kim Joo Young is a human resources expert with diverse industry experience and will be responsible for stabilizing ADOR’s internal organization.
Min Hee Jin will remain as the internal director and will continue to handle the production of NewJeans. Therefore, ADOR’s production and management will be separated. Previously, ADOR was the only label (HYBE) whose CEO was responsible for both management and production, which did not follow the multi-label strategy.
With this change, we will do our best to be more committed to the success of ADOR and NewJeans.
Thank you.
– I LOVE IT
The suddenness of the change left the public shocked, leaving them with many questions. On the other hand, another statement made by HYBE on the same day revealed that Min Hee Jin was not surprised by the reappointment. Apparently, she had attended the meeting virtually.
The board meeting held today, along with the bylaws, including the notification of agenda items and voting procedure, was conducted in legal compliance with the procedures established by the Commerical Act. The date of the meeting was chosen from the dates previously suggested by former CEO Min Hee Jin in his request for adjournment. Former CEO Min Hee Jin attended the meeting virtually and the board made the best choice for the future of ADOR and NewJeans after sufficient discussion.
