Photographer reveals he was attacked after sharing photos of BTS’ V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie in Paris

In 2023, pictures and videos of BTS’s V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie together in Paris were widely shared on social media, attracting considerable attention from fans. Photographer Amar Taoualit, who took the photos, recently shared his story of being attacked after sharing them.

The photographer revealed that although the videos gained popularity on May 17, they were actually shot on May 15. He explained that he didn’t expect to meet V and Jennie and that the photos were of poor quality because he had to use his phone.

In a recent interview, Amar shared his experience. He was conducting a routine photoshoot when a K-Pop fan informed him that V was in Paris for a CELINE event. However, he had no information about Jennie. Amar said that he waited for over an hour at a bus stop in front of a club after 11 p.m. When he saw V and Jennie hanging out and holding hands, he took a photo and immediately sent it to a friend, who responded in surprise.

Amar also said that after posting the pictures, he faced a lot of backlash from the online community. Many people sent him abusive messages asking why he posted the pictures. Meanwhile, others expressed relief that “the truth has finally come out.” Amar admitted that he had not followed the couple closely and simply saw the pictures as celebrity pictures.

However, Amar’s explanation sparked a strong reaction from netizens. Many questioned the photographer’s explanation, noting that it seemed inconsistent with his previous statement, in which he claimed that the meeting with the two idols was unintentional.
