The episode of July 4th of “Brave detectives 4” On the channel and revealed two of the most gruesome cases of murder in real life in the recent Korean criminal history, exposing chilling crimes that involve dismemberment, the removal of organs and the psychological manipulation all told by investigators who have broken the cases.
Case 1: nine pieces dismemberment, organ removal
The first case began with a call from an owner of a restaurant in a food alley, reporting a mysterious smell of foul from a recorded box left out. Inside the box, the investigators found a lot of rice and two rolled covers and inside them, a cut thigh and pieces of meat, probably from a small female.
The victim was soon identified as a woman at the end of the 1930s who had worked in cars sales and disappeared after saying that he was heading to a customer meeting. The filming of surveillance showed her to enter the alley with an unidentified man. The flyers with a sketch of suspicion were distributed.
Thirteen days later, another sack of rice was discovered in a redevelopment area. He contained the bust of the victim, with all the main organs that removed a horrible detail that also shocked veterans investigators.
In the end, the police tracked down a box combined with a room residence. Blood traces were found under the tear -off wallpaper and soaked in the floor. The room was recorded under an imprinted woman, but her boyfriend known only as Mr. Kang was the real suspicion.
When he was arrested, Kang was at the top of hallucinogens. Initially he denied everything, but the forensic tests forced a confession. He said he just wanted to scam it for money, but ended up killing her when captured to steal money. He dismembered his body in nine parts due to the weight and eliminated the remains using metropolitan and buses. Although he claimed the induced madness from drugs, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Case 2: a corpse kept at home for four months
The second case began when a black garbage bag containing a decomposition body was found near a river by a construction crew. Initially he believed he was a child, the body was subsequently identified as a small woman in the mid -1920s. His body showed post mortem injuries including deep cuts and a wound opened by the chest on the abdomen.
The cause of death was determined to be stranging, with an estimated time of death more than six months earlier. The woman lived with her son and had a relationship of common law with the child’s father. Shortly before his disappearance, he had presented a relationship of domestic violence after he would presumably hit with a telephone receiver during a call from a public phone.
The suspicion intensified when the victim’s mother noticed a strange smell, never close to the child’s father during a recent visit. Entering his house, the police were overwhelmed by the stench of a decomposition body.
Later he confessed: raged by his refusal to return to him, killed her – and, disturbingly, he kept his body inside the apartment for four monthsclaiming that “she wanted her to remain close”. When the decomposition worsened, mutilated the body for “inconvenience” while dismantling it. He received a prison sentence of 15 years.
