On the morning of February 12, the press conference for the original Netflix series “Melo Movie” was held at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square in Jonny-Gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Oh Choong-Hwan, Choi Woo-Sik, Park Bo-Young, Lee Jun-Young and Jeon So-Nee.
“Melo Movie” is a romantic drama that follows uncertain young people who want to love and realize their dreams, discover and inspire each other while passing personal traumas. The project is directed by the director of “Start-up” and “Hotel del Luna” Oh Choong-Hwan, together with the writer Lee Na-Eun of “Our Bigoted Summer” by SBS.
In the drama, Choi Woo-Sik plays Ko Gyeom, a popular critic, while Park Bo-Young takes on the role of director Kim Mus-Bi.
Having previously worked with the intimate friends of Choi Woo-Sik Park SEO-Joon and Park Hyung-Sik, Park Bo-Young was asked about his experience. Choi Woo-Sik replied first, “Everyone likes a lot Park Bo-Young. I have heard so many times that he is kind and a good person, and now I understand why. He took care of me a lot on the set, also supporting my mental well -being.“
Feeling this, Park Bo-Young said: “Among these, Woo-Sik is the only one who is the same age. Acting with someone in my age made me understand how comfortable it can be. I liked all three, but I felt more comfortable with Woo-Sik, so I think we had the best chemistry. “
He further expressed his passion, “For me, Woo-Sik is like my laughter button. When I feel down, I would like to look at it. Has so many captivating qualities. “
“Melo Movie” is previewed on Netflix on February 14th.
