Hearts2hearts, destined to make its official debut on February 24, revealed the names of its members.
Just like the iconic groups SM F (X) and Exo for over a decade before, the entire range of Hearts2hearts was made by a puddle of secret internships, jumping the traditional pre-debut showcase through smrookies.
The excitement that surrounds Hearts2hearts intensified after the 2025 Smtown live concert was held on 11 and 12 January in Seoul, where the female act fascinated the fans and lit lively discussions on its potential training.
Carmen, one of the talented members, quickly captured the spotlight to be the first Indonesian idol of sm.
Joining her I am a vibrant range of Korean talents: Jiwoo, Haram, Jooeun, Yuna, Leean, Nayeon and Dahyun (which is remarkable for having a double Corean-Canadian citizenship), as per A Star news relationship.
The women’s group boasts a young charm with an average age of 17, with talented members born between 2006 and 2010.
When the relationship has made its way to the Korean forum Theqoo, K-Netz has impatiently shared their thoughts on the debut of MS who debut a group mainly composed of Korean members. They have noticed in particular that the Hearts2hearts range differs from the different formations of previous groups such as NCT and AESPA, which present many foreign talents.
“I like that there are many Koreans,” a fan wrote.
“It would have been nice if all the members were Korean, but it is already better since they do not have Chinese and Japanese members,” commented another Internet user.
Some K-Netz have also expressed a deeper concern, with a Netizen saying: “If you have experience with Indonesian fans, you would know why you would hate an Indonesian member. Those fans are really …”
Most of the comments expressed joy that most of the members of Hearts2hearts are Korean, with a palpable sense of relief that there are no Chinese or Japanese members in the mix.
Despite Carmen’s generally favorable welcome, many Netizen Koreans express reservations about inclusion in training due to their negative perception of the culture of the Indonesian Fandom.
“I experienced it … jealousy, extremes and obsession are not a joke. If you mistakenly, they will act to the most extreme,” said a Netizen.
“There are Indonesian members who are more headache than Chinese, Japanese and Thai members,” he agreed another user.
