The enlistment date for THE BOYZ member Sangyeon has been confirmed.

THE BOYZ’s new agency, ONE HUNDRED, has released an official statement declaring Sangyeon’s enlistment date, as per MBC. The agency shared that Sangyeon has applied for the military band and will join the military on March 17.

“We would like to inform you of the military enlistment of our artist THE BOYZ,” the agency began.

“Sangyeon officially applied for the Army Band and received his final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration on the 23rd. His enlistment date would be March 17th.”

The agency also emphasized public safety and prevention of overcrowding, which will be achieved by prohibiting any special events during the Sangyeon entrance ceremony.

“There will be no special ceremony on the day of induction into the Recruit Training Corps for safety reasons and to avoid confusion,” the company said.

“We kindly ask for your understanding, as this decision was made to ensure the safety of everyone, including service members and their families. We ask fans to refrain from visiting the site.”

ONE HUNDRED added that Sangyeon plans to make good memories with THE BOYZ fan Deobis before enlisting. The statement concludes by asking for fans’ love and support for the group’s leader until he completes his service.
