THE 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards will be held on March 17, 2025 and the candidates were recently announced.
In the categories, which include several K-Pop-specific categories, various artists have earned nominations for their work over the past year. First among the categories fans can vote in is the “Favorite K-Pop Dance Challenge” award.
The candidates are aespait’s “Supernova” THE DOORS“Work” ENIPENEIt’s “XO (If You Say Yes)” YOUIt’s “Magnetic” aespa Karinais “Up” KATEYE“Touch” KISS OF LIFEit’s “sticky”, THE SERAPHINSit’s “intelligent” SEVENTEENis “Master”, and TXT YeonjunIt’s “Rubber”.
In the general categories, BTS‘S Jimin earned a nomination in the “Best Lyrics” category for “Who” and BLACKPINK‘S Rose AND Lisa each earned a nomination for “Best Music Video” for “APT”. and “Rockstar”, respectively.
BTS Jungkook and Jimin also earned a nomination for “Favorite On-Screen” for their reality show Are you sure?! KATSEYE was also nominated in this category for their show Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.
“Best New K-Pop” nominees were included in the non-voting categories. MONSTER CHILD, BADVILLINO, YOU, DESIRE NCTAND TWS.
“K-Pop Song Of The Year” also has five nominations: “Chk Chk Boom” by Stray children“Magnetic” by ILLIT, “Supernova” – aespa, “Who” – Jimin and “XO (Only If You Say Yes)” by ENHYPEN.
Finally, aespa, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, Jimin and Lisa earned nominations for “K-Pop Artist of the Year.”
As with all awards show nominations, some fans expressed feeling that their favorite art was left out of a category. Many Stray Kids fans believe the group should have earned a nomination for “K-Pop Artist of the Year”, citing the group’s chart performance and sales.

I’d like to know what the criteria were. How come a group with 2 BB hot 100 entries in a single year, 2 BB #1 albums? 1 and the only one to enter Spotify global charts is not here?
