According to the Herald POP on January 21, former LABOUM member Yulhee has been cast as the female lead in the short drama “My Partner is a Devil.”
According to a drama industry insider, Yulhee has started filming and the drama will premiere through the “Alwayz” platform in March.
On the same day, Yulhee shared a photo of the “My Partner is a Devil” script on her personal channel, expressing her determination with the caption: “My partner is a fighting devil!“
Yulhee debuted in 2014 as a member of the girl group LABOUM. She married Choi Minhwan of FT Island in November 2017 and the couple had a son and two daughters together. However, their five-year marriage ended in divorce last year.
Amid rampant speculation about the reasons for their divorce, Yulhee alleged that Choi Minhwan was involved in prostitution and forced indecent acts, causing significant controversy. Yulhee later filed a mediation request with the Seoul Family Court to change custody arrangements and request alimony and property division.
Recently, Yulhee hinted at a new beginning by cutting her hair short, signaling a transformation. With her dramatic debut on the horizon and her new look, there is growing interest in Yulhee’s next chapter.
