Lee Mijoo announced her breakup with Song Bum Keun after nine months of dating.
The couple decided to call it quits after feeling pressured by their public romance, according to an insider she spoke to My daily newspaper on January 20th.
“Mijoo and Song Bum Keun broke up. They loved each other beautifully, but couldn’t help but feel burdened by their public relationship,” the source revealed. “Even though they broke up, they decided to continue supporting each other.”

Mijoo and Bumkeun confirmed their relationship in April 2024.
“Mijoo and Song Bum Keun are getting to know each other carefully and with good feelings. Please look at them with loving eyes,” Antenna, the idol’s label, announced last year.
When the news broke, fans were abuzz, having already noticed their romance via their adorable “lovestagram.”
On Instagram they subtly expressed their affection for each other by posting snapshots taken in the same places and times.
Last year, the couple had a long-distance romance while Song played for the Japanese league under Shonan Bellmare. But he recently returned to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the K-League.
The anticipation of seeing them together in South Korea grew, but the two broke up in a shocking way.
Lee Mijoo, now a staple in MBC Hangout with Yoois thriving in her solo singing career following the disbandment of Lovelyz in 2021. She made her solo debut in 2023 with the single album Movie star.
