On January 15, KST, SUPERIOR gave a series of media interviews for the first time in eleven years. He touched on many topics related to his career, including his departure from BIG BANG and his current relationship with the members.
In one of the interviews, T.O.P revealed that instead of a negative relationship with the group members that led him to lash out at fans who tagged him in BIGBANG content, he felt guilty for causing “great damage” to them.

This goes against previous rumors that TOP and BIGBANG members were at odds with each other. Although TOP has stated that he has no plans to return to BIGBANG, many fans have expressed hope that he will one day feel emotionally capable of taking the stage with them again.
Many netizens believe this G-Dragon has already shared his feelings about a possible reunion.
On November 22, 2024, G-Dragon released “Home Sweet Home (feat. Daesung and Taeyang)”, a track telling fans that the three idols were “coming home”.
Following TOP’s interviews, some looked at the song in a different light, citing specific lyrics believed to be addressed to the former member.
