In the video, when asked if she had ever considered plastic surgery, Han Ga-in replied: “Apart from accompanying my niece for nose fracture repair surgery, this is the first time I have visited a plastic surgery clinic.“
While she admitted she was curious about the feedback she might receive, she also humorously noted, “I can’t afford to face humiliation in a plastic surgery clinic.”
Han Ga-in explained: “I often feel that my appearance in real life doesn’t translate well to the screen. I’m curious if there are any areas I could fix that might make me look better on camera.” To explore this, he scheduled consultations at three clinics in Gangnam.
The specialist at the first clinic commented that although she did not need any changes, signs of aging could affect her eyelids and eye sockets. He suggested a small double eyelid enhancement and upper eyelid fat repositioning, estimating the cost between 2.5 and 3.5 million KRW.
Despite the advice, Han Ga-in expressed reluctance, saying: “I have always hesitated because I don’t want to change the essence of my face.”
In the second clinic, Han Ga-in confessed to feeling intimidated: “Just being here makes me feel small. Not a place I would recommend unless absolutely necessary.”
The specialist, after examining her, praised her natural beauty:”Among countless celebrities, Han Ga-in is one of the rarest beauties. However, facial contours could be a concern. Cheekbones, square jawline, and lack of fat in some areas could create a sunken look if you lose more weight. To improve this look, shaving the bones and sharpening the jaw line would create a V shape.“
The estimated cost of complete procedures, including contouring, double eyelid surgery, eyelid fat repositioning and nose correction, ranged from KRW 25 to 35 million. Han Ga-in observed: “It’s like throwing the cost of a car in my face.”
