Boy group SF9 has announced that it will return after a seven-month hiatus.

SF9 will return with a new album in March, the follow-up to their 14th mini-album FANTASY, released in August 2024. The group is reportedly in the midst of preparations for a comeback.

However, not all eight members will participate in the return, as member Dawon continues to serve his mandatory military service, which began in July.

During the break from the group’s activities, its members ventured into various solo projects.

Hwiyoung released his solo album Traveling fish in June. Members Youngbin and Inseong hosted solo fan meetings after their discharge from the military.

Chani participated in the 29th Busan International Film Festival with his film Acting method.

Taeyang is currently busy as an actor in the musical Bloody love.

The group, originally nine members, was reduced to eight when member Rowoon left the group to focus on his acting career in 2023.

That of the group FANTASY the return featured only five members, with members Dawon and Jaeyoon in the military, and Zuho faced scheduling conflicts. For the upcoming comeback, Jaeyoon and Zuho are expected to join the activities.
