A recent clip with the actress Lee Se Young with the senior actor Choi Min Soo has become the source of a serious debate about the possible sexual harassment of the actress.
The two actors, who play a father-daughter duo in the new K-Drama MotelCaliforniahe recently appeared at a press conference for the show alongside other cast members. A video of that press briefing was posted to the official Instagram account of MBC Dramawhere the two actors posed together in front of the cameras.
In the clip, Choi is seen rubbing Lee’s arm as the cameras start flashing, and then proceeds to strike some cute poses with her.
The video has since created serious debate as some fans felt that the way Choi touched Lee was inappropriate and that she appeared uncomfortable. On the other hand, some felt that the clip was taken out of context and that Choi’s gesture came from a genuinely paternal place.
