On January 14, Song Hye-kyo, Jeon Yeo-bin, Lee Jin-wook and Moon Woo-jin attended the open show of the film “Dark Nuns” at Lotte Cinema World Tower.
“Dark Nuns” tells of nuns working together to save a boy possessed by an evil spirit. In the film, Song Hye-kyo plays Sister Junia, a nun determined to save the boy. After gaining recognition for her stunning image transformation as Moon Dong-eun in “The Glory,” Song Hye-kyo will make her return with Sister Junia in “Dark Nuns.” Therefore, many people are looking forward to seeing his new character and acting this time.
At the showcase, MC Park Kyung-rim asked Song Hye-kyo about her image change in the new film, and the actress said, “I think viewers will realize that after seeing the film.”
Revealing that she tried to memorize the prayer by remembering it days and nights, the actress shared, “Since the prayer scenes required strong emotions, I needed to completely memorize the prayer to bring out the maximum of my emotions.”
Jeon Yeo-bin also talked about acting with Song Hye-kyo. He said, “Junia in ‘Dark Nuns’ is a nice person. I found many similarities between Junia and Song Hye-kyo in real life. I could feel that they were literally the same person. Every time I looked into her eyes, I felt moved by her emotions. I really appreciated it and I remember being so amazed at that moment.”

Notably, she also revealed her new short hair image in Jung Jae-hyung’s video, saying “I cut my hair for the next project. It is a project by writer Noh Hee-kyung. A period drama”.
Recently, Song Hye-kyo decided to participate in Noh Hee-kyung’s new drama as her next project. Filming has already started on the 12th. Set against the backdrop of the broadcasters of the 60s and 70s, it is a work about the history of the stars on stage and the people behind them. Song Hye-kyo will work with Gong Yoo on this project.
