PocketDol Studio faces CLOSE YOUR EYES from management for breach of contract allegations

PocketDol Studio has officially responded to the accusations made by NOT COREthe agency that supervises the “PROJECT 7” group CLOSE YOUR EYESregarding complaints of contractual violations.

PocketDol Studio releases an official statement against UNCORE

The controversy arose when UNCORE revealed its intention to take legal action against one of the participating agencies, accusing it of violating the project’s contractual terms. According to UNCORE, the accused agency scheduled independent activities for its artists outside of the commitments required for CLOSE YOUR EYES, the project group formed under “PROJECT 7”.

On January 10 PocketDol Studio, which manages J-Min (Jeon Minwook) and Sakurada Kenshin from BAE173both members of CLOSE YOUR EYES, have released an official statement addressing the allegations.

“We express regret for today’s statement from UNCORE, which indicated their intent to take legal action over alleged breaches of contract by an agency,” the statement read. “BAE173 – a group with five years of history – and ‘PROJECT 7’ had signed a previous contract allowing dual activity. PocketDol Studio finds it deeply troubling and disheartening that “PROJECT 7” has suddenly changed its position on selecting the final debut lineup.

The agency said: “We have carefully examined the claims made by UNCORE and would like to clarify our position. PocketDol Studio has always operated within the terms outlined in the participation agreement. We have given priority to CLOSE YOUR EYES activities while ensuring the professional growth of our artists in other appropriate contexts.”

“We urge UNCORE to reconsider who is truly engaging in obstructive behavior,” they added. “It was ‘PROJECT 7’ that changed the word: while initially ‘PROJECT 7’ encouraged participation with the guarantee of being able to carry out a double activity, they reversed their position once the debut lineup was defined.”

PocketDol Studio further underlined its commitment to resolve the matter amicably through open dialogue. “We are ready to engage in discussions with UNCORE to resolve any misunderstandings and find a solution that respects all parties involved,” the agency concluded.

As the legal wrangling continues, fans remain curious the future of CLOSE YOUR EYES and its members.
