In the December 12 episode of “Please take care of my refrigerator since 2014,Song Joong-ki and Lee Hee-joon appeared to be talking about their roles in the movie “Bogota.”
On this day, Song Joong-ki, who welcomed his second child last November, shared his feelings about becoming a father to a daughter, saying: “It still doesn’t feel real. It’s been two weeks (at the time of filming) since my second child was born and I’m so happy. It’s really cool.” Song Joong-ki continued, “She was born a year after my first child and my daughter really hugs me so, warmly. It is not true?” asked Kim Sung-joo and Ahn Jung-hwan. “He hugs me really tight. I can’t forget that feeling,” he added.
When Kim Sung-joo asked: “Does the first one speak?” Song Joong-ki replied: “He started talking. It’s so cute because now he can talk. He says, “Goodnight, Dad.” I love you’ in Korean. When she wants me to hug her, she says “Colo”, which means neck in Italian, she asks me to hug her neck.
He also shared an anecdote about learning languages, explaining, “Since my wife lives in Italy, the first child started speaking Italian, but I couldn’t understand, so I thought it was a big problem. After having the baby, I focused more on learning languages and my wife is learning Korean. Sometimes, when the child speaks the Korean I taught, it makes me feel really proud.” He said he speaks English to his wife, saying: “My wife speaks English, Italian, Spanish and French. Now he is learning Korean and I am working to improve my English and my Italian.”
Song Joong-ki, who lives in Tuscany, Italy, also shared: “I work in Korea, but I live in Italy with my family.”
Regarding his daily routine with his son, Song Joong-ki revealed, “I bathed my son every day for 200 days. I felt like it was something I had to do. My mother taught me this. When the little girl looks at me while I bathe her, it’s really amazing. After bathing the baby, I feel proud when we go to bed.”
When asked about his dreams for when his children grow up, Song Joong-ki replied, “I have so many. I want to bathe with them, play the sports I love with them, and I want to take them to Hanwha Eagles Stadium in uniform.
Lee Hee-jun shared, “I have always dreamed of the time when my son would ride a two-wheeled bicycle by himself. From the ages of three to five we always rode together on a four-wheeled bicycle. While I was briefly away filming, my wife removed the training wheels. He sent me a photo and I was really disappointed. I had trained them for three years,” he explained. Hearing this, Song Joong-ki replied, “I learned a lot today.”
