It’s freezing cold in Seoul and one fan fainted from exhaustion.
BOYNEXTDOOR held a pop-up event in Seoul starting January 10, attracting more than 1,000 people on the first day.
However, fans complained that there was no advance registration and that fans had to line up to make reservations on the spot. On-site registration also closed within 2 hours, due to the amount of fans queuing.
Since it wasn’t possible to register in advance, fans ended up lining up overnight to get in on the first day. Eventually, a fan who had been waiting in line for quite some time fainted and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.
Fans have begun to wonder why there wasn’t more preparation and forethought put into the event, given that its well-known fans are willing to line up overnight to gain access to their idols’ events. It is currently very cold in Seoul, with night temperatures reaching -10°C (14°F).
