The Seoul Family Court ruled in favor of the husband.
In January 2023, former first generation idol AND member turned actor Choi Jung won he fervently denied all charges that he had seduced a married woman Donna A. At that time, as he was nicknamed a “homewrecker”, Choi stated that Woman A’s husband, Man Baccused him of an extramarital affair to extort money from him.

Fast forward to January 2025, however, the Seoul Family Court ruled that Woman A and her relationship with Choi Jung Won are, in fact, the root cause of her marital breakup.
Sporty Kyunghyang reported that, on December 4, 2024, the divorce case filed by Man B against Woman A was reviewed, and as a result, the court ordered Woman A to pay Man B ₩30.0 million KRW (approximately $20,600 USD) in “damage”.
During the marriage, Woman A lied to her husband, Man B, claiming that she was going out to see a friend and instead met with Choi Jung Won for brunch in May 2022.
On the 27th of the same month, Woman A lied about attending a company meeting and instead met Choi at Hangang Park. The two drank wine and showed physical intimacy by holding hands and linking arms. Woman A later went to Choi’s house and spent time there.
Woman A also told Man B that she was taking her son out, but left the child alone in an arcade while she met Choi for a date.

Although Woman A has appealed the court’s ruling, this decision is expected to have a significant impact on Man B’s lawsuit against Choi Jung Won.
