Girl group BABYMONSTER will soon kick off the Korean leg of their first world tour, “HELLO MONSTERS.”
The seven-member ensemble – Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora and Chiquita – will begin their tour in Seoul on January 25 and 26, with a unique offering for Korean fans.
Fans can enjoy discounted tickets if they take the 2025 SAT or graduate in 2024. Each qualifying fan can purchase up to four tickets, enough for friends and family. Regular customers who attended the group’s last tour may also qualify.
The girl group has also extended the discount to families of fans hoping to attend the show together.
Qualifying fans can purchase tickets for a discounted price of 99,000 KRW (approximately $68 USD) from the regular price of 165,000 won (approximately $113 USD).
The nearly 40% discount earned praise from fans online as the group’s label extended BABYMONSTER’s tour due to demand.
With the additional shows, the girl group will tour a total of ten cities across 19 shows, with American and Japanese shows spanning across Newark, Los Angeles, Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka and Fukuoka.
“To repay the love and support we have received, we have decided to organize an Asian tour,” YG Entertainment said.
“The members are eager to connect with fans from all over the world, so in addition to the announced dates, we plan to visit many other regions, so look forward to it.”
BABYMONSTER released their first full-length album DRIP in 2024, featuring the dual-title tracks “DRIP” and “CLIK CLAK”, as well as follow-up song “Love In My Heart”. The group is YG’s first girl group since BLACKPINK’s debut.
