This marks Hwang Jae-gyun’s first SNS assignment since his divorce from Jiyeon in November last year. The cryptic nature of the lyrics has attracted attention, with many wondering if they reflect his current state of mind.
Meanwhile, Hwang Jae-gyun and Jiyeon got married in 2022, often sharing glimpses of their sweet life as newlyweds on SNS. However, just a year and a half later, rumors of their divorce began to surface in June 2024.
Both parties remained silent until October 2024 when they officially confirmed the divorce. At the time, Jiyeon’s legal representative stated: “The couple was unable to overcome their differences and, after a period of separation, decided to divorce. They filed for divorce mediation in the Seoul Family Court to proceed with the trial.”
Through her legal representative, Jiyeon expressed: “We mutually agreed to undergo the divorce mediation process. I ask for your understanding for not being able to address the issue promptly. I will try to greet you in a better light in the future.“
