SM Entertainment is preparing for an unforgettable start to 2025 with its upcoming SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul, which will take place on January 11th and 12th at the Olympic Stadium.
The agency has announced a unique event featuring its artists and their most popular songs to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
The label released a series of teasers on January 7 that piqued fan interest, suggesting artists mix up their discographies for the advertised event.
The posters featured a “Ladder Game” connecting the names of SM artists, prompting remake interpretations of their best hits by their labelmates.
In a recent statement, SM Entertainment announced that the company will release a special 30th anniversary album, featuring remakes of hit songs with brand new interpretations.
“This special album will feature remakes of SM’s signature hit songs, reinterpreted by senior and junior artists in each team’s unique style,” the agency said.
“It will give fans the chance to experience SM’s beloved songs – moments of joy, pain, nostalgia and dreams – in a whole new way.”
The concert series features a star-studded lineup, including RIIZE, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, Super Junior, aespa, BoA and WayV, with Red Velvet’s Taeyeon and Wendy recently announcing they will not be performing at the event.
