In the final episode, which aired on January 4, the MBC drama runs from Friday to Saturday “When the phone rings” the heartfelt love story between Baek Sa-eon (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) and Hong Hee-joo (played by Chae Soo-bin) has come to a heartwarming conclusion, culminating in the realization of their lifelong romance twenty years.

Yoo Yeon-seok: A career-defining role
Yoo Yeon-seok, who perfectly played the devoted and tender Baek Sa-eon, earned the title of “dream male lead” for many viewers. Reflecting on his time with drama, he said,
