Now, ARMYs’ suspicions are triggered even more after Netflix “accidentally” revealed on June 27, 2025, how Squid game 3 in a now-edited teaser posted to YouTube. ARMYs noticed that the caption on V’s most recent Instagram post was mysteriously “27v2.” V’s discharge from military service is expected to take place on June 10th of this year, perfectly timed with the rumored release date of the next season.

Now, lead actor (and V’s friend) Lee Jung Jae and co Squid game actor Wi Ha Joon (also romanized as Wi Ha Jun) responded to rumors that V would be joining the cast. BuzzFeed interviewed the actors, asking about the speculation, to which they both laughed and did not comment.
