A commemorative post by Ahn Hyun Moformer reporter and current TV personality, has caused quite a stir online.
On December 30, Ahn posted a photo with a caption about herself Instagram history.
“Even though I flew on Friday, Saturday and even today for several days, getting on and off the plane was unfortunate. It was all something to be grateful for.

However, her memorial post sparked controversy as she said it was “luck” that allowed her to get on and off the plane safely while the country was mourning the victims.
Korean netizens believe he went a little too far with his commemorative post.
- “The only people who can say it was luck are the ones who canceled their ticket and didn’t get on that plane. Who are you to talk about luck…those people didn’t die because they didn’t have luck..”
- “What is the point of posting something like that?”
- “She can think for herself… did she have to publish it?”

Previously, on the morning of December 29, Jeju water Flight 2216 flying from Bangkok, Thailand to Muan, South Korea crashed after landing on its belly and veering off the runway.
