The group’s agency released a statement on December 27. He announced that the members Yujin and Hikaru he had tested positive for influenza type A. This was just a day later Chaehyun and Dahyun it was confirmed that they contracted the same virus.
“Please be advised that the fan signing event scheduled for Saturday, December 28th has been completely canceled due to members Yujin and Hikaru being diagnosed with influenza type A“, reads the statement.
“All members visited the hospital this morning and were tested for influenza type A, and a total of four Kep1er members have been diagnosed with the virus. In accordance with medical advice that all members require isolation and rest, the scheduled fan signing event has been cancelled.“he added.
“As the decision to cancel the event was made for the health of the artists and the safety of the fans, we ask for your understanding,” the statement continues. “Refund information for the fan signing event will be provided through the record company. Once again we apologize to the fans who have been waiting [for the event]and we will do our best to help our artists recover their health.”
