Heechul Reveals How He Made Sugar’s Park Soo-jin Cry During Filming

On December 27, KBS Joy’s “20th Century Hit-Song” aired a special year-end episode titled “Comeback Hope Idol Hit-Song”. The episode featured Baby VOX’s Kim EZ and Lee Hee-jin as guests.

In the show, Sugar’s song “Shine” ranked eighth on the charts. When footage of Sugar’s young members including Park Soo-jin, Ayumi, Hwang Jung-eum and Yuk Hye-seung was shown, Kim EZ admired, “How could everyone be so beautiful?” Kim EZ, who performed at the same time, also shared: “I remember they were so beautiful back then.”

When Sugar, the girl group Park Soo-jin and Hwang Jung-eum were a part of, attracted attention again, Heechul explained, “Back then they performed live. To improve their live performance, they trained by increasing their lung capacity by running 100 laps on the track.”

Lee Mi-joo revealed, “Heechul oppa once made Park Soo-jin cry while acting with her.”

Heechul, who played Park Soo-jin’s husband in the drama “Loving You a Thousand Times,” explained: “We were shooting a scene in the car, and while Soo-jin was looking at her nails, she suddenly started singing ‘Tae-tae-tae’ from the JooJoo Club song, and then started crying. I felt so bad and was so surprised. I immediately ended the scene out of embarrassment.
