This 2024 has brought tons of memories to K-pop fans, as many of their favorite idol groups have been trending for their music releases, world tours, achievements, and many other contents. Now that 2024 is coming to an end, the Korea Business Research Institute has released its brand rankings for rookie K-pop groups.
The list, derived from data collected from November 3 to December 3, consisted of idols who debuted in 2023 or later. Various factors such as consumer participation, media coverage and overall engagement were analysed.
Here are the 30 most popular rookie K-pop groups in December 2024!
1. TWS
TWS took first place last December after experiencing a brand reputation index of 1,960,986.
2.QWER
QWER follows at no. 2 with an index of 1,545,693.
3. YOU
ILLIT took third place with a brand index of 1,447,686.
4. MONSTER CHILD
BABYMONSTER follows in fourth place after achieving a Brand Reputation Index of 1,139,952.
5. RIEZZA
RIIZE rounded out the top five with an index of 867,083.
6. tripleS
After garnering an index of 672,450, tripleS took sixth place.
7. MEOVV
Seventh place went to MEOVV with a mark index of 616,428.
8. permission
The number 8 spot was taken by izna after achieving an index of 575,889.
9. ZEROBASEON
ZEROBASEONE collected a brand index of 544,045.
10. BOY NEXT DOOR
Finally, BOYNEXTDOOR took 10th place with an index of 517,205.
