On December 26, 2024 (KST), Korean media reported this Kim JunsuFrom TVXQ AND JYJ fame, that’s it. Second Chosun Ilboa foreign car import company shared a post titled “Tesla cybertruck license plate installation: the very first official cybertruck registration in Korea” on its Naver blog.

In this post, the company announced that it has imported the Tesla Cybertruck model and delivered it to the owner. In a previous blog post, the company explained the process of importing and obtaining certification for the Cybertruck. Later, in the post shared on December 23, the company described how the vehicle and its license plates were received from the Korean Registration Office. The post included a photo of the Cybertruck with the aforementioned license plates mounted.

The company confirmed that the Cybertruck was delivered to its owner, Kim Junsu. It reportedly took the veteran idol four months to receive the vehicle; In fact, Kim Junsu even used air transportation to speed up the delivery. The company also clarified “The post was published with the consent of Kim Junsu and his management.”

Before Kim Junsu became the first official Cybertruck owner in Korea, BIG BANG‘S G-Dragon he once went viral for showing up at an airport in one. It was noted that, at the time, the Cybertruck had not been officially launched in Korea, and the vehicle used by G-Dragon was said to have a temporary license plate.
