On December 24, Seo Taiji expressed his thoughts via Seo Taiji Company’s SNS account, opening with: “Another year has passed and Christmas in December has arrived.”
He continued: “These days, Korea is grappling with its first impeachment crisis in seven years. Another impeachment – this is truly deplorable. The regret of the times.”
Seo Taiji addressed his fans, “It seems that many fans attended the rallies. Do we still have working glow sticks?“He added:”This time, above all, many friends in their twenties joined. It reminded me of the old days when we fought together. It was admirable. Now we must become the immutable uncles and aunts who can support these young people who lead the future.”
Seo Taiji also shared a glimpse into his personal life, “This year, looking back, there were no particularly special events. Spending time with my family seemed like a good life.”
Reflecting on social changes, he observed: “The world is so different today than it was 30 years ago. Sometimes this world seems strange and intimidating, but we are the only generation that has experienced firsthand the transition from analog to digital and now to artificial intelligence. I believe we will live strong, resilient lives, no matter what.”

Seo Taiji, born in 1979, debuted in 1992 as part of the trio Seo Taiji and Boys. After suddenly retiring in 1996, Seo Taiji returned as a solo artist in 1998 and continued to release albums until 2014, maintaining a strong fan base.
