Do even A-list celebrities get nervous at awards shows? Based on what happened to the actress Kim Tae Ri presenting the Daesang Prize in the “2024 SBS Drama Awards”, seems to be exactly the case!
On December 21, 2024 (KST), SBS celebrated the best of Korean television, honoring the year’s outstanding talents and productions. The winners of the “SBS Drama Awards 2023” – actors – presented the first prize Lee Je Hoon AND Kim Tae Ri-he went on stage.
There, while introducing himself and the award, Kim accidentally mentioned MBC instead of SBS.
Kim Tae Ri: Hi, I’m Kim Tae Ri.
Lee Je Hoon:Tae Ri-ssi. Just like in 2023, SBS K-Dramas also received a huge amount of love and support in 2024.
Kim Tae Ri: You’re right, this year’s MBC— [panics]
Lee Je Hoon: [Laughs] He meant SBS.
In a state of total panic, Kim later apologized and explained that she was feeling nervous. Her adorably flustered reaction ended up making her fellow celebs in the audience burst out laughing!

After the small inconvenience, Kim Tae Ri and Lee Je Hoon welcomed the Daesang winner on stage and celebrated the victory.
