At the event, with her excellent performance in “The Judge of Hell,” actress Park Shin-hye won the Director’s Award, an award given to the best actor chosen by drama directors.
Appearing on stage, Park Shin-hye calmly delivered her acceptance speech while holding the trophy in her hands. Receiving Best Couple on the same day, Park Shin-hye did not forget to express deep gratitude to Kim Jae-young, her costar in “The Judge from Hell.” The actress said: “Although he said he was really happy to become Park Shin-hye’s man in this drama, I think I was able to shine thanks to his support. Thanks to actor Kim Jae-young for becoming my man in the drama.”
Park Shin-hye, who received the Best Young Actress award at the SBS Drama Awards 21 years ago when she was a child, confessed: “I believe it was thanks to the love of so many viewers and fans of the drama that I could receive such a big award here after 21 years. I always think about my changes and how long I will be able to do this job. Once again, I want to thank everyone for accepting and embracing my changes so warmly.”
After expressing her gratitude to her CEO and staff, the actress mentioned her husband Choi Tae-joon and his family. The actress expressed her affection, saying “It’s not easy to meet people who match me well in life. Among them is Choi Tae-joon. I want to take this opportunity to thank him for always supporting me, a person who has lower self-esteem than I thought. I also want to thank my beloved family.”
Meanwhile, Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon, who is a year younger than her, got married in 2022 after 4 years of dating. The two have a son.
