On December 19, tvN’s variety show “You Quiz on the Block” released a preview clip featuring Lee Min-ho as a guest in an upcoming episode.
In the teaser, Lee Min-ho shared that this appearance marked his first time on a variety show since his guest appearance on KBS 2TV’s “Star Golden Bell” in 2008.
Lee Min-ho confidently stated: “I got caught by SM about three times. I definitely have the SM look.” Yoo Jae-suk agrees, acknowledging Lee Min-ho’s tall stature (187cm) and good looks, saying that he really fits the SM aesthetic.
During the episode, Lee Min-ho also discussed one of his iconic works, the 2009 drama “Boys Over Flowers.” He admitted candidly “In the drama, my character was a chaebol (conglomerate heir), but in reality it was the most difficult time of my life.”
Reflecting on his role as Goo Junpyo, Lee Min-ho shared with humor: “When I would go out to a barbecue with friends, they would say, ‘Why don’t you grill meat?’ or if I got into a taxi, they would joke: ‘Why don’t you open the car door?'” His anecdotes made the audience laugh.
Yoo Jae-suk praised Lee Min-ho’s candid and entertaining narration, “Why didn’t you come to the show sooner? You’re so funny!”
The episode with Lee Min-ho in “You Quiz on the Block” will air on December 25.
