New Jeans‘ Daniel was recently revealed as the new ambassador of the luxury watch brand Omega. This occurred after the group had left I LOVE IT AND MOVES. December 18, 2024 was reported by 10Asia that a manager from NewJeans, manager A, who is still under ADOR, helped the girls convey the message to Omega that Danielle would like to sign a contract with the brand directly. 10Asia confirmed that Manager A contacted the brand and helped lead contractual discussions between NewJeans and the brand. Another manager, Manager B, who had already resigned from ADOR, also helped another luxury brand contact the girls directly and tried to help the girls sign a two-party contract directly with the brand.
10Asia reports that this could be considered a violation of NewJeans’ exclusive contract with ADOR, as they attempted a two-party contract that excludes ADOR. However, NewJeans have already declared the end of their contract with ADOR. ADOR instead replied that the contract remains valid.
It was reported that Manager A was also suspended. ADOR also contacted the various brands to state that a contract between two parties would not be possible given their exclusive contract with NewJeans. Despite ADOR’s stance, Omega has already gone ahead and announced Danielle as their new ambassador.
