On December 8th, nCH Entertainment officially announced Junhyeok and Eddie’s departure from n.SSign and the termination of their contracts with the agency. Both members had previously been on hiatus due to ongoing health issues, and after careful consideration, the decision was made to step away permanently.
The agency expressed its gratitude to Junhyeok and Eddie for their contributions to the group and wished them the best as they prioritize their health and future endeavors. nCH Entertainment emphasized that this decision was made in mutual agreement with the members after in-depth discussions, ensuring that their well-being remained the top priority.
“After multiple discussions with n.SSign members Junhyeok and Eddie, who had temporarily stopped activities for health reasons, it has been decided, out of respect for their wishes, that they will terminate their exclusive contracts with us and end their activities as members of n.SSign“, we read in the statement. “We feel deeply sorry towards COSMO [n.SSign’s fandom] for giving you cause for concern with this sudden news.
“As Junhyeok and Eddie stand at the starting line of a new path, both we and the members of n.SSign will be rooting for them in the futureand we ask that COSMO also send its unconditional support and warm encouragement to the two members as they start anew,” he added.
What happens now?
In the future, n.SSign will also continue its activities as a seven-member group.
