On December 6, Min Hee-jin attended Hanwha General Insurance X FOL:IN’s concert titled “Women Who Became a Genre.” The event is a platform where women who have carved their own path in society share profound insights and experiences on finding their authenticity. Min Hee-jin participated with the theme “Planner Min Hee-jin: Crossing Boundaries to Become a K-pop Genre”.
He began his speech by stating: “Living with conviction is not easy” adding, “I’ve been facing a lot of criticism lately.” He continued, “I have been attacked with fabricated claims. I can’t go around always saying, “That’s a lie.” Instead, I must endure injustice and prove myself through my work, my actions, and my true self.
Discussing his current situation, he noted, “Unimaginable lies are being spread about me. Honestly, I might be in a tougher situation than any of you here,” expressing his anguish. He added, “It’s become like a religious war. Even if you tell the truth, people don’t believe it. People believe what they want to believe, but time will reveal who is telling the truth.
Speaking about her strengths, Min Hee-jin shared, “I’m good at drawing the big picture.”
He explained, “I quickly describe key elements such as roadmaps, milestones and turning points. Instead of thinking too much, I draw as if I were making a croquis and work on the details at the same time. When it comes to giving directions and creating a large-scale vision, I don’t like to be interfered with, that’s how this situation (the HYBE issue) came about.
Min Hee-jin also said: “Personally I hope that the lawsuits end soon and that everything is resolved. But time doesn’t move as I would like. It’s terribly painful, but I resist by thinking about how to deal with this period and focusing on what I need to do in the future.
He encouraged the participants by saying: “In your daily life, don’t let difficulties and struggles discourage you too much. It is more productive to practice and learn how to find happiness. Even though there are bad people in the world, there are also many good ones.”
On October 20, Min Hee-jin resigned as ADOR’s internal director and left HYBE. She is currently involved in legal disputes with executives HYBE, Belift Lab and Source Music.
Meanwhile, today (December 6) NewJeans’ Haerin also made her first official appearance since announcing her departure from ADOR. It was reported that this schedule had been agreed upon in advance.
