G-Dragon has made his feelings clear about President Yoon Suk Yeol’s declaration of martial law, leaving likes on social media posts criticizing the decision.

Poet Ha Sang Wook shared lines from his poetry collection “Lie in Bed Without Turning Off the Light” with viewers in response to current events in South Korea.

With the poem, Sang Wook urged followers to “Take care of yourself, please switch off.”

While the post lacked a focused argument, many speculated that the poet’s intention was a thinly veiled criticism of President Yoon following his declaration of martial law.

Although the Big Bang leader also did not offer a direct opinion on the martial law decision, netizens speculated that his likes might be an indirect co-sign. Many believe that G-Dragon’s tastes reflect his agreement with Wook’s alleged criticisms.

The post received a significant number of approvals from Korean viewers and accumulated over 13,000 likes within 13 hours of uploading.

President Yoon Suk Yeol declared emergency martial law on December 3 with the stated aim of eliminating “anti-state” forces, a move last made in 1980 during a nationwide uprising led by students and unions, but l ‘he canceled just six hours later.
