A press conference was held at Stanford Hotel Seoul for KBS Joy’s new drama “Sorry Not Sorry” on December 2nd. Participants included director Min Ji-young and cast members Jeon So-min, Gong Min-jung, Jang Hee-ryung, Choi Daniel and Kim Moo-joon.
Towards the end of the press conference, Gong Min-jung shared the news of her pregnancy. He said: “I am currently pregnant and preparing to give birth. Initially, my character wasn’t supposed to be pregnant, but luckily the production team changed the role. This allowed me to connect with the character even more deeply and I feel like I can represent mothers in a meaningful way. I would be grateful if you could celebrate this with a loving heart. Not having much time available, I am filming with caution and joy in a stable and supportive environment.“
Previously, Gong Min-jung married fellow actor Jang Jae-ho on September 6. Returning to work with “Sorry Not Sorry” after his wedding, Gong Min-jung shared: “This is the first drama I’ve been working on since I got married in September. Since my husband is also an actor, we can discuss projects and share many things together, which is a great change.“
He added: “I used to have to handle everything myself, but now I feel like I have a partner to brainstorm and develop ideas with. It’s excellent. When I told him I was doing this project, he was thrilled. He supports me every day and helps me a lot at home too.“
“Sorry Not Sorry” premieres Dec. 5 at 9 p.m.
