aespa: the biggest winner of the evening
aespa dominated the night, taking home 3 of the 4 Grand Awards—Song of the Year (Supernova), Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year (Armageddon)—as part of their impressive 7-award haul.
Winter expressed gratitude to the MY fandom, saying: “It seems like a dream. We promise to continue to make you proud.”
Karina promised to continue delivering great music, saying: “Winning 3 Grands Prix gives us even more motivation for the years to come.”
Other members, including Giselle and Ningning, thanked fans for their support in making 2024 a milestone year for the group.
(G)I-DLE: Emotional moments and big announcements
(G)I-DLE won Record of the Year, reflecting their innovative artistry. During her speech, Jeon Soyeon announced that all five members had decided to renew their contracts, putting the breakup rumors to rest.
Soyeon said: “We are entering our eighth year and promise to stay together for many more years. This award is proof of the unwavering love of our fans.”
Other members, including Miyeon and Minnie, shared their joy at receiving their first Grand Prize, promising fans more memorable music.
