On November 30, the Melon Music Awards 2024 (hereinafter referred to as MMA 2024) was held at Incheon Inspire Arena.
aespa was awarded the title of Best Female Group. During the presentation, Eom Ji-yoon, who served as the award presenter, accidentally dropped the trophy intended for Aespa. In an attempt to rectify the situation, she knelt down and handed the trophy to the group, creating a moment that attracted a lot of attention.

In the Best Male Group category, RIIZE took home the trophy.
