On November 28th, New Jeans held an emergency press conference to discuss early termination of the contract. As of November 29, the group is no longer under their ex MOVES label, I LOVE IT.
At the press conference, NewJeans commented on topics such as the early termination fee and whether or not they will keep the NewJeans name. The members also answered questions from journalists.
The members’ answers to questions about their contract and future attracted a lot of attention from fans and netizens. But some members’ reactions have also become hot topics, such as HyeinThe viral reaction to hearing MOVES founder Bang Si Hyukthe name.
At one point in the press conference, a reporter recalled the sequence of events that led NewJeans to cut ties with ADOR, such as sending a certified letter with eight demands to the company on November 13. On X (formerly Twitter), a video of NewJeans members reacting to this reporter has amassed over 345,000 views.
