Go Hyun-jung debuted in the entertainment industry as a contestant in the 1989 Miss Korea pageant and gained fame through the drama “Sandglass”. She married Shinsegae Group president Chung Yong-jin in 1995 and retired from the entertainment industry. They have a son and a daughter, but after 8 years and 6 months of marriage they divorced in 2003. After the divorce, she successfully returned in 2005 with the drama “Spring Day”. His children grew up under Chung Yong-jin’s care.
