Jung Jae Won, originally known as One, is a former Brave Entertainment rapper who debuted in a duo called 1Punch with Samuel. However, it was a short-lived team as they eventually disbanded within seven months when Jung joined YG Entertainment to pursue his solo endeavors.
As a solo artist, he became known in the music scene as a singer-songwriter and rapper, joining seasons 4 and 5 of “Show Me the Money”.
He also stole the hearts of many viewers when he debuted as an actor, notably becoming a rising “Korean heartthrob” with his appearance in “Her Private Life” airing in 2019.

While many K-drama fans thought that he would somehow focus on his acting career due to the fame he enjoyed, he left YG in the same year and launched his own one-man agency, Private Only. Under this company, he released “PRVT 1.”
All is well until, One, who was even more beloved as Jung Jae Won, suddenly “faded away” in 2020/2021. His personal Instagram account which was the only means of communicating with him has been deactivated. His label’s IG is still active, but no updates have been posted there either.
From 2022 to 2023, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was reported to have discreetly entered and served in the military.
After many years without any updates on him, a photo purporting to spot Jung near a bus stop spread in June 2024, and in July a YG Entertainment producer mentioned One and attested to his fandom that he’s going Well.
He also hinted at his possible return, hinting that a new song is in the works.
