Actor Jung Woo-sung and model Moon Ga-bi reportedly became parents last March, making for a surprising revelation given that there had been no previous rumors of the two dating or getting married.
In particular, according to initial information, on November 24, Moon Ga-bi gave birth to a son in March, of which Jung Woo-sung was identified as the father. The two are said to have met for the first time in 2022, and Moon Ga-bi reportedly became pregnant in June last year. Although Jung Woo-sung is expected to take on the responsibility of raising the child, the two have no plans to get married.
In response to this news, Jung Woo-sung’s agency told media outlet DongA.com, “We are checking the facts.”
Moon Ga-bi herself shared the news of her son’s birth on her Instagram on November 22. He expressed his feelings, saying: “Writing this publicly as a mother now, not just sharing my personal story, fills me with nervousness and worry. But I found the courage to embrace a more ordinary happiness as a mother.”
He continued: “The news came so suddenly and I wasn’t prepared at all. Instead of fully celebrating the joy of pregnancy, I spent it largely in silence, blessed by the support of my family. This choice was entirely for the good of my son.”
Moon Ga-bi added, “I want to show my son the bright and beautiful world I once saw, and I realized that I needed courage to do so.”
He also answered potential questions from the audience, stating: “By sharing my story I feel a little more comfortable. A simple “congratulations” is more than enough. I will take one step at a time next to this little one who gave me a new world.”
On the other hand, Moon Ga-bi, born in 1989, is 16 years younger than Jung Woo-sung.
