While there’s nothing wrong with dating idols, that’s not the truth of the (hilarious) situation.
The photo is from a set posted on a Chinese social media app, with the first showing Vernon with Tobi Loua musician he has worked with previously. The second image is the one circulating and is actually the OP in the photo, who approached Vernon.
I met Vernon in Los Angeles! I bought a concert ticket last minute and went to brunch with my friends. Then I saw someone at the door who actually looked like Vernon! I plucked up courage and got his autograph.
Vernon was so nice that he even asked me my name so he could write it down for his autograph! See you tonight, guys.– OP
