Former I LOVE IT CEO Min Hee Jin officially announced his decision to leave MOVES. In announcing his resignation as ADOR’s internal director, Min expressed his disappointment with the controversial company.

ON November 20thMin Hee Jin released a detailed statement confirming his resignation from his role as in-house director at ADOR, the HYBE sublabel he helped found.
“HYBE’s actions in 2024 will be recorded as an unprecedented incident in the history of K-pop.
Over the past seven months, I have invested all my mental, economic and physical resources in relaunching ADOR, which was devastated by HYBE’s serious violations of the shareholders’ agreement.
It was a hellish battle against the baseless violence of a group masquerading as a large multinational, but I didn’t hold back and made every effort.”
His statement marked the end of his impactful tenure with HYBE, during which he played an integral role in shaping the label’s success, particularly with the rise of New Jeans.
In response, ADOR released an official statement.
“We would like to communicate ADOR’s position regarding the resignation of Director Min Hee Jin,” the statement read. “ADOR regrets Director Min Hee Jin’s unilateral resignation notice. Our company will do our best to support NewJeans so that it can continue to grow and develop further. Thank you.”
Previously AugustADOR announced that Min Hee Jin would step down as CEO, although she would continue to oversee the creative and production aspects of NewJeans, the wildly successful girl group she helped launch. Despite this change, Min Hee Jin’s departure from the CEO position has sparked concern among fans and members of NewJeans, who have openly expressed their unwavering support for her.
ON September 11thNewJeans held a live broadcast on YouTube where they made a bold statement, urging HYBE to reinstate Min Hee Jin as CEO September 25th. Members have highlighted its indispensable role in their artistic direction and career development.
Two days later, Min Hee Jin filed an injunction to be reinstated as both CEO and internal director of ADOR. However, his decision to leave HYBE indicates that these efforts have not resulted in a resolution. Fans now await updates on Min Hee Jin’s next steps and his potential plans outside of HYBE.
