K-Pop Girl Group FANATICSthe dissolution was confirmed.
FANATICS debuted in August 2019 with The Sixfollowing the pre-debut activities of a subunit called TASTE. Several members of the group participated in survival shows before and after the debut.
The next two years saw the group’s lineup change and what would be their final release, a single album titled “Starry Night”. Although the group’s activities have slowed down, it was shared that they had planned a comeback during an interview with the members NO AND Doi in November 2022.
Former member Via confirmed that the group had disbanded after being asked by a fan on an Instagram post. Furthermore, Via responded that the group’s planned comeback had been cancelled, possibly leading to the disbandment.
The group was presumed to have quietly disbanded in 2023, but this is the first official confirmation since news of their now-cancelled comeback.
Some members of the group continued with their careers, making solo debuts or joining another group in the case of former member Sika.
