A clip of DAY6‘S The young K it went viral that he got emotional The 2024 KGMA (Korea Grand Music Awards) held at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on November 17.
In the clip, Young K sits with his members while watching espa perform their hit song “Whiplash”. While the music is upbeat, Young K appears to be holding back tears. Wonpil she must have noticed because she apparently tried to cheer him up by singing “Whiplash” to him.

Of course the reason for her tears wasn’t aespa. DAY6 took home three awards, including the “Grand Prize,” winning the first daesang that night, and Young K was still emotional.
