This is the third time SM has been accused.
RIIZE have recently released original variety content on their official YouTube channel. The internal content, called The RIIZE Courtfeatures group members acting as judges, lawyers, and clients in a courtroom to solve “problems.”
While this isn’t the first time RIIZE has loosely planned content like this within a real-world setting, this specific content proved familiar to SEVENTEEN fans. Specifically, fans of the group recalled episodes of Let’s go to SEVENTEEN which were released in 2023.
This content also featured SEVENTEEN in a courtroom.
Fans pointed out that the content layout of the two varieties was too similar to ignore, along with the content structure.
SM is getting real brave with the GoSe copy fest, huh?
“you can copy my homework but change it a little” lmao https://t.co/1ex5mB6tUD pic.twitter.com/zwUQcgoUH4— SerenityRoseQuartz (@DiamondQuartz95) November 17, 2024
RIIZE fans defended the group, pointing out that the court’s content has been made multiple times by other groups. Some have stated that the setting was also used in theatrical performances and was probably a space available for rent.

However, many SEVENTEEN fans have expressed frustration over SM Entertainment’s alleged plagiarism, as the company has been accused of copying Let’s go to SEVENTEEN content twice previously. These other allegations have fueled the belief that SM intentionally copied the content in this case.
SM and their staff should give credit to Going Seventeen! SVT and GoSe staff do not produce plagiaristic contentSM. Content, ideas, original episodes produced by Team Going Seventeen. Show some respect to the creators and creators! https://t.co/cQj4t5ZwQT pic.twitter.com/dbEPORdIJO

SM Stans, I hope you understand where we’re coming from. This is not an isolated incident. SM also copied an original Going Seventeen series. Not just this court thing 🙂
We don’t hate kids, stop making bullshit. We are suing SM and its employees who do not give credit. https://t.co/pqSJRyaaVL pic.twitter.com/2ClYXmkodr
