The awards ceremony, which was held over two days, November 16 and 17, featured actress Nam Ji-hyun, Hanni of NewJeans and Winter of aespa as guests.
NewJeans’ Minji caught everyone’s attention on the red carpet with a bold look that included an open skirt, showing off her unique fashion sense.
The NewJeans began their performance trapped in a purple cage in the center of the arena. After escaping the purple cage, NewJeans showcased a dreamy, soft stage of “Right Now.” In “Right Now,” they used a desk and sofa to create a unique blend of elegance and intensity.
They then performed “Bubble Gum” live with a band, showing their freedom and fun on stage. Even while performing with handheld microphones, NewJeans delivered a flawless live performance, demonstrating their talent.
When the NewJeans performed “How Sweet”, they shouted to the audience “Shout out loud!“and made them cheer. They also showed an engaging performance with a one-take camera, avoiding any monotony.
In “Supernatural”, they used standing microphones and showed perfect coordination between the members. Together with the dancers they warmed up the atmosphere of the venue even more.
In particular, Hanni, who co-hosted KGMA together with Nam Ji-hyun, showed no signs of tiredness and delivered an energetic performance, demonstrating her skills.

KGMA 2024 is a new popular music awards ceremony presented by leading entertainment and sports magazine Ilgan Sports. It is organized by Ilgan Sports (Edaily M) and the KGMA Organizing Committee.
