On the October 6 episode, the show ended with a “Mission of Manners.” Members were observed as they passed by the youngest writer struggling to carry two heavy watermelons.
The results were unexpected. Only Moon Se Yoon offered to help the writer, asking with sincere concern: “Where do you take these heavy things?However, new members Jo Se Ho, Lee Joon, along with Kim Jong Min, DinDin, and Yoo Seon Ho all passed without helping, which caused an uproar after the broadcast.
After watching the footage, the members were shocked. Jo Se Ho said he “doesn’t remember” the moment and expressed regret, “I prided myself on having good manners, but why did I do that?Lee Joon, however, tried to justify his behavior:The distance was so short, so helping might have felt intrusive.”
While the scene was played for laughs on the show, viewers reacted negatively, criticizing the members’ attitude towards the staff. In response to the backlash, the production team removed the clip from YouTube and other platforms.
Viewers expressed opinions such as: “If someone is carrying something heavy, you should of course offer help.” Some added “They really may not have noticed, but the apology was disappointing“, criticizing the members’ actions.
